Sad Day. His legacy lives on. Still play on a regular basis.

Now, I just need to slay that 20HD demon named "redistribution". Hoping to
get that "numbered" magic item when I do...

Subject: OT - Gary Gygax hits the bit bucket

I have just found out that AD&D inventor Gary Gygax has passed away at the
age
of 69.

Given the occasional 20 sided dice metaphor on the list I thought a few
fellow
retired gamers (old farts) would like to know.

AD&D was fun. At least I'm closer to passing the lab than my magic user
'Illuin the Silver Mage' was to acquiring enough experience points to get a
9th level spell back in 1984. He did make 12th level though before 'monty
haul' dungeons came in vogue.

Sad news. Back to route filtering practice on the homerack.

Bring on the trolls.
