Does anyone know what specific circumstances would require you to use a
multilink virtual template interface? Or what it is for??
"multilink virtual-template 1"
I can do multilink using a standard virtual-template without using the above
command but see it on cisco's site as a solution.
With statement:
2#show ppp multilink ac
Virtual-Access4, bundle name is R3
Endpoint discriminator is R3
Bundle up for 00:01:19, 1/255 load
Receive buffer limit 24384 bytes, frag timeout 1000 ms
0/0 fragments/bytes in reassembly list
7 lost fragments, 8 reordered
0/0 discarded fragments/bytes, 0 lost received
0x12 received sequence, 0x4 sent sequence

Vi1, since 00:01:12
Without statement:
2#show pp multilink
Virtual-Access5, bundle name is R3
Endpoint discriminator is R3
Bundle up for 01:24:29, 1/255 load
Receive buffer limit 24384 bytes, frag timeout 1000 ms
0/0 fragments/bytes in reassembly list
0 lost fragments, 1 reordered
0/0 discarded fragments/bytes, 0 lost received
0xB0 received sequence, 0xAE sent sequence

No inactive multilink interfaces
Thanks!
