Hello Gary,
I agree with your approach that using multiple products from multiple
vendors is a good way to go. As with you, I have found IPExperts and
Internetwork Experts material to both be extremely useful and informative.
Each company has CCIEs (with Scott Morris and Brian Dennis being
world-class) with a wealth of experience and varied backgrounds. I feel
that by utilizing multiple vendors, I am gaining insight / views / problem
solving techniques from multiple experts
Regards,
Andre

OT - Second Vendor
Having spent a great deal of time the last year on Cisco Press examples
and
the IPexpert v 9.0 workbook learning technologies I am now trying IWEB for
a
change of landscape. So far it seems to be a rewarding journey..different
styles and further clarification. I didn't use the Proctor Guide for
IPexpert
and just worked with the given configurations which were enough in the
most
part. Anything I wasn't sure on I researched. The IWEB solutions guide are
100
pages for workbook II, more than Im used to but so far a rewarding
experience
in terms of vindicating understanding and verification tips. I do need to
become faster on the mock exams though!
Has anyone else tried the dual vendor approach?
