I passed Routing and Switching CCIE LAB yesterday in San Josi in my
first try.
In 2002 I discovered some certification called CCNA. After reading into
it and discovering CCNP and CCIE, I never dreamed that I should ever
become more than CCNP.
Got my CCNP in 2003. Started at a Cisco Gold Partner in 2006 and made
myself a promise. CCIE before I turn 30. November 6th 2007 I passed my
CCIE written, and newly married and with a 1 year old child, I took
almost every weekend, every night in the first 3 months of 2008 with the
IPExpert workbook. First working down the blueprint, and then a mock lab
every saturday and a mock lab every sunday.
Leaving Denmark april 12th to travel 8000 Miles to San Josi, CA. In the
days 14 - 25 April I took the IPExpert 1 week bootcamp and 1 week mocklab.
I used 572 hours including 40 hours BGP exam, and 40 hour CCIE written
exam study.
I had a full private rack at work 24/7.
I used the IPExpert End2End program.
IPExpert workbook ver. 9.0
Audio bootcamp CD - when driving to work
Video bootcamp DVD - For the lonely nights
Special thanks to the evil twins at IPExpert Marvin Greenlee and Scott
Morris.
Marvin Greenlee for his "Proctor attitude" and for introducing me to
stud routers (joke).
Scott Morris for his "wonderful" voice as I listened to it on the audio
bootcamp, video bootcamp and in real life bootcamp.
And most of all thanks to my wife for making it possible.
