I say no.
BB routers don't redistribute your routes so no guarantee that ping will
work.
Don't overly concern with the 'golden' rule...as a matter of fact, i heard
lots of people never use ping script in their lab...as long as you got 80%
of the questions right :)
Oh, adding default route without permission is a no no.
