OK. Maybe I am going nuts.

This is my config. Notice that router says /5. Isn't the range 224-239
supposed to be a /4? And 240+ a /5?

----------------------------

Rack1R4#
ip pim send-rp-announce Loopback0 scope 255 group-list GRP232 interval 5
!
ip access-list standard GRP232
* permit 232.0.0.0 7.255.255.255*

Rack1R5#sh ip pim rp mapp
PIM Group-to-RP Mappings
This system is an RP-mapping agent (Loopback0)

Group(s) 224.0.0.0/4
  RP 150.1.2.2 (?), v2v1
    Info source: 150.1.2.2 (?), elected via Auto-RP
         Uptime: 01:39:05, expires: 00:00:15
*Group(s) 232.0.0.0/5 * * <<<<< /5?*
  RP 150.1.4.4 (?), v2v1
    Info source: 150.1.4.4 (?), elected via Auto-RP
         Uptime: 00:02:23, expires: 00:00:12
Rack1R5#

Maybe it's mu ignorance. Multicast isn't my strong suit.
