I have actually used TCL scripts to do things like this. There are lots of
those available on the web that people have written to do some very
sophisticated stuff. It is a bit more complicated than doing something with
kron but provides a lot more flexibility. Cisco's web site has a nice
selection or you might try http://blog.ioshints.info/search/label/Tcl.

seems like Kron is the way to go since you don't want to only block the
traffic e.g. time-based ACL. just make sure your system's time is managed
properly :-)
