Timer changes need to be made on the root bridge for that VLAN. So perhaps
look at/adjust that first.

Subject: Spanning-tree Question
Hi Experts
There are 2 switches with vlans 10 and 20. They are running mstp. How do I
change the forward delay time to 20seconds for vlan 10 using 802.1W(RSTP). I
assume RSTP is underlying for MSTP so I tried with spanning-tree vlan 10
forward-time 10 but when I do show spanning-tree vlan 10 I cant see the
forward time changing. Any inputs would be appreciated.
Regards,
John
