In the case of the max number of interfaces, there is some guidance
about max IDB values on the cisco site:

But this does not get into memory or cpu, and these factors would be
affected by what other processes are running at the time.
Regarding OSPF, I would think that predicting memory requirements would
be more difficult, since memory useage for OSPF could vary greatly
according to the number of routes and areas/area types.
