I am seeing this as a good thing, and is should not change how anybody
schedules their labs per se. If you are ready and want to book it,
there should now be more dates within a closer time frame then before.
I know that recently I I wanted to book it 6 weeks out and was not able
to because all the dates where full - only to have to check it every day
to see if a date freed up that I could sit. I finally got my date, so
now I am set - but it should not have been that difficult to do.

You do know that there are other places in the world to take a lab exam
other than Dubai, correct?
The value in the 30 day policy is that people with real jobs can make an
attempt or change with a little bit of notice. Some of the people with
real
jobs have very demanding schedules and it is very difficult to predict
what
is going be requested of us in 3 months.
For people with not so demanding jobs and tons of free time, this should
be
a great change for them.
I would think the policy would be ok if you could escrow the lab amount
or
some other means of not losing that much money. Otherwise, it's just
plain
silly and not well thought out.

I have to agree with Joseph. It's not about whether you are close to it
or
not. Problem with 28day policy was that people were scheduling labs and
cancelling at the last moment. For locations like Dubai where you can't
get
a seat atleast 6 months out, this policy will really help.
As always some people will suffer but for the good of many, suffering of
few
is not a big deal.
Hope that clears it up :)
