I do not believe you lost points for those extra commands, but you are
certainly not following a methodology that I used or teach to my
students.
I would only use commands such as send-community or next-hop-self
where they are truly needed in the lab exam. If you are well
practiced, it should be very easy to identify such required
configurations. The only "extra" commands I wanted on the devices were
already placed there by Cisco (for example, logging synch and no ip
domain-lookup).
I would recommend for your next attempt that you focus on your weak
areas based upon your score report and your own honest assessment of
your strengths and weaknesses. If you are having issues with task
interpretation and/or strategy, you will most likely want to work with
one of the respected vendors on this list.
