Hello,
The PG shows the msdp peers using loopback 2 interfaces as MSDP peers. This
is impossible! They have the same address for this interface. When R2
receives a MSDP TCP packet from 7.7.2.2 - it responds to itself and
handshake never completes. Even the PG shows the MSDP peer state in "Listen"
state not in "Up" state. You have to use a seperate interface, not the
anycast interace. Here is how it should look:
R2#sho ip msdp peer
MSDP Peer 7.7.6.6 (?), AS 6024
Connection status:
State: Up, Resets: 1, Connection source: Loopback1 (7.7.2.2)
Uptime(Downtime): 01:44:47, Messages sent/received: 112/114
Output messages discarded: 0
Connection and counters cleared 01:53:17 ago
SA Filtering:
Input (S,G) filter: none, route-map: none
Input RP filter: none, route-map: none
Output (S,G) filter: none, route-map: none
Output RP filter: none, route-map: none
SA-Requests:
Input filter: none
Peer ttl threshold: 0
SAs learned from this peer: 0
Input queue size: 0, Output queue size: 0
thanks
