Hi Gs,
I am trying to make manual ipv6 tunneling over ipv4. Configs are
Router Z#
interface Tunnel0
no ip address
ipv6 unnumbered FastEthernet0/0
tunnel source 7.7.7.7
tunnel destination 8.8.8.8
tunnel mode ipv6ip
end
Router X#
interface Tunnel0
no ip address
ipv6 unnumbered FastEthernet0/0
tunnel source 8.8.8.8
tunnel destination 7.7.7.7
tunnel mode ipv6ip
end
=>Tunnel destination/source on each router is loopbacks addresses.
=> configured ipv6 address on fastethernet 0/0 of each router.
=> Tunnel interface status is as follows
X#show ip inter brief | in Tunn|IP-A
Interface IP-Address OK? Method Status
Protocol
Tunnel0 unassigned YES manual up up
Z#show ip inter brief | in Tunn|IP-A

What should I do to ping other side of ipv6 interface of router X and Z.
What is wrong with my config, can some one guide me..
