Here is the situation,
this about this you have your router that is connected to 2 routers and
each of these two routers connects to ISP.
so you have 3 iBGP router and 2 eBGP sessions.
lets say
RTR connects to R1 - ISP1
RTR connects to R2 - ISP2
R1 connectes to R2
you have 3 networks
1.1.1.0/24
1.1.2.0/24
1.1.3.0/24
Using As Path append i am controlling incoming traffic so:
traffic destine for 1.1.1.0/24 will come through ISP1
traffic destine for 1.1.2.0 and 1.1.3.0 /24 will come through ISP2
but here is what i want (so my traceroute works, and i have no
asymentric routing)
I am a client i come in to 1.1.1.10, i will come through ISP1 (lets say
my ip address is 5.5.5.5)
but iBGP see route for 5.5.5.5 to be better via ISP2, how would i force
this to go out via ISP2
so if the traffic is desinte for 1.1.1.0/24 networks it is comming
through ISP1 and it should leave via ISP1
how can i do that?
