Either way, the answer will be the same... It'll work just fine. It's
a router. :)

While the command line is different, you'll find many of the same
features between the boxes. It just depends on what you are
specifically looking to do. And for your "extra interfaces", well, how
do you configure your 1841s? The J4300 has two FastEthernet interfaces
out of the box, but has six module slots that you can add other
interface types as needed.

So what do you need? Give JUNOS a try, you'll probably end up liking it!
