Ok, there are even more options as Narbik would put it..
1)interface level ip ospf database-filter all out
2)neighbor x.x.x.x database-filter all out [cost]
Then there, is the
3) area 1 filter-list prefix prefix-list-name in/out
4) use the area 1 range x.x.x.x y.y.y.y no-advertise on the abr
5) use the summary-address x.x.x.x y.y.y.y no-advertise command on the asbr.
And finally we, have the distribute-lists, if you want to filter the routes
from your local routing table! :D
