I guess the questions to ask are: *how many people have passed using
360 material* and *how many people have passed using "grey market"
material*....
When we were a CLP, I tried to tell Cisco that the CCIE training space
was MUCH DIFFERENT than the lower-level / authorized training
market....they refused to listen (Why, I don't know - because we have
trained more CCIEs than any other company in the world - and they are
a collective group of sales reps that have never succeeded in the CCIE
training space).....
To them (Learning_at_Cisco) - all they're worried about was that they
were being converting over to a "profit center" - they could care less
about what training materials, racks, support, guarantee / updates or
instructors actually work - it boils down to "who is paying L_at_C
royalties".....that model won't fly with the consumer-base -
GUARANTEED - so, hopefully (Brad) - guys like you (in bed with Cisco)
have thought long and hard about this...(what happens when Cisco
forces you to sell their junk)
It's my guess, but I'm expecting companies pushing 360 to fail... -
heck, what do I know - I've only been running a company that's
recruited the industry's top talent, have 6 MM in online (CCIE)
hardware (with an unmatched interface), have built a study community
that's spam-free (with more posts than GS) and oh - have the largest
list of CCIE success stories out of any training company -
worldwide...and, we have been on Inc. Magazine's list of "Fast Growing
Private Companies" for the past 2 years - this year (to be announced
in August) will be our 3rd straight year....
It boils down to "what is proven" - and the 360 isn't....and won't be.
It's that simple.
If you want to pass (and earn a guaranteed six-figure income) - take
the class (and use the products) that are proven.....you're investing
in your future....hopefully "CLCs" aren't the deciding factor in what
vendor / products you choose to utilize.....
