I'm not sure about others.

But I can think of followings.

- Expensive trip cost : Tokyo living expense is pretty expensive. ^^
- Payment method ? Last time when I checked, they only accepted wire
transfer, which cost bank fee a lot.
They don't accept Credit Card payment.
- language barrier perception ? It is pretty straight forward, so you
don't have to speak much in Japanese.
But some people may be afraid of Japanese Keyboard? ^.^
Staff can speak English, and no problem from lab using English overall.
But still some people may have perception that they may have to use
PC-98 to access Internet, which is not true. ^^
