RE: card type command issue.....again !!

I have to use the card type command for the T1/E1 cards I use. The IOS
won't let me configure the channel group until I specific the card type.
What model of WIC are you using? Is it the same in both?

Guys:

I am going nuts with the card type command :-(

I have 2 identical routers running identical IOS: 2851 with
12.4-15.T8.bin.

One of them takes the command while the other does not..but the wan
comes up
fine on both and I am able to access the routers inband.

Keeps giving me: unrecognized command.

Has any one run into this?

The controllers are configured similar for T1 0/0/0 and 0/1/0

To fix this: Does the controller config have to be removed, router
rebooted
and then add the card type commands first?

What is the solution?
