RIP v2 , Authencation

Small clarification on RIP v 2.

For RIPv2 authentication .. Is it madatory to match ( key chain "NAME "
and key "No" ) ?? ( I mean should be same on both ends ???? ))

My understanding is for RIPv2 , key name and no should MATCH.
and for EIGRP , KEY "NO " Should match , But KEY CHAIN "NAME " doesnt
matter "

AM I rite ??

Kindly advise me ....
