We have had several students pass with a re-read, and one that passed
recently after opening a support ticket! These were a direct result of
the re-examination of the Core Knowledge section.

If you truly "aced" the configuration portion, I would certainly try
for the re-read.

Note: Cisco only permits a re-read to certain candidates now based on
their lab exam score. I presume this is because they were FLOODED with
re-read requests after the Core Knowledge introduction. The way I see
it, they figured there was no sense in taking someone's money that had
no chance of passing on the re-read anyway. Unfortunately, they do not
let us know what the "cutoff" is.
