Cisco vs Juniper Security (OT)

To use Cisco or Juniper as a security device? This was a semi heated debate a
few months ago. Things have changed so I think it's time to revisit this.

Various engineers sided with Cisco and others with Juniper. There seemed to
be some consensus though. Many people said that management is so much easier
using the netscreen. Others said that Cisco support is tremendous. Now we
can get that out of the way, let's revisit those issues. I am not talking
about using another device management software. I am talking about straight
out of the box, standalone device.

The Juniper Netscreen is being phased out by devices runing JunOS, especially
on the higher end devices, such as the netscreen 5400 being phased out and
replaced by SRX. So now that Juniper have moved away from their bread and
butter, I would imagine more people will now lean more toward Cisco.

I could be way off on this of course since I am not in the security world.

Let the fighting begin, again.
