Hi Roy,
I think there is a subtile defference between a prompt, banner and a message.
- At a prompt a router or computer waits for user-imput. It typically
does when a user is prompted to type in it's username or password.
- A banner is some general information displayed to all users and
contains some generic information.
- A message is specific information tailored specifically for that
user or process.
So in my opinion a prompt does not equal a fail-message.
AFAIK it is not prohibited to configure additional things in the lab,
as long as it does not break anything else.
So I think you would not loose point when you also configure the
fail-message or authentication banner.
