That's incorrect.

Passing SP written would renew any _existing_ CCIE certifications
(including R&S, but the OP isn't a CCIE R&S yet). The written (in any
track) is not a certification in its own right. The only way to become
eligible for attempting the R&S _lab_ is to sit and pass the R&S
_written_.
