ans1) time-based ACL is correct answer. not sure what extra the interviewer
asked tht made the answer incorrect. persistent ddr dialing can be disabled
and time-based ACL can be used for interesting traffic.
BTW whts the logic of adding DMVPN router to the question? you need to put
the full question i believe.

ans2) its due to the standard advantages tht distance vector rpotocols offer
over link state ...easy manageability, simple filtering of prefixes, support
for usage of offset list etc..
for dmvpn, these features apply more to multi-hub dmvpn where you need to
take care of asymmetric routing and prioritize one hub over other or even
loadshare.....its easier to do with EIGRP and even with RIP..
practically, it comes to personal preference also. design wise even OSPF is
pretty good, may be slighly complex than eigrp but it works pretty cool;)
