James,

There are three overall components that you need to be concerned with.

1) TS Server Setup for console access to r/s lab
2) network connectivity for TS to Netgear
3) Traffic Flow NAT/PAT on NetGear

As for the TS setup, a quick look at the free resources at INE.com and many other sites will breakdown how to configure the TS. Basically you will be doing reverse telnet the various lines you will put into play.

Network connectivity for the TS. You should manually configure your ethernet interface that connects to the Netgear.

you will need to open up SSH or Telnet to your TS via the NG. The Netgear should give you an option of UDP/TCP or Both, port number 22 or 23 depending on telnet or SSH, and an inside IP address field.

I prefer SSH but you need to make sure your version of IOS on the TS will support SSH.

Consider this the first of many tasks that you will need to complete on your way to obtaining your CCIE. Some quick research on Google can fill in any blanks.

Hello Mates

I want to setup remote access to my Lab via Internet.?

I have DSL internet access with Netgear Router (1x Eth.) connected to Motorola
5121E Cable TV Modem.

If you have experienced this before and configured?

Thanks to advise.

Kind Regards

james
