I am a pilot, so I'd probably just fly myself. But if I had to pick one,
I'd pick the one who'd make it there without any required NTSB reports
or insurance claims!
Becoming a good pilot is something that comes from experience - similar
to a CCIE. The more situations you've encountered and "lived to tell
about it" the better of a pilot you become - learning from the situation
and any potential mistakes you made. Granted, having a router or switch
go down on you is nothing like taking a direct hit by lightning in a
small single engine airplane IMC at 10,000ft MSL, 3,000ft AGL and then
instruments catching on fire! (that'll get your blood pumpin!)
My feeling is, the OEQ Waiver program is just a part of the Cisco 360
program. I believe the test itself isn't changing. In my opinion, core
knowledge is simply being validated by an authorized training program
and an authorized training instructor. The waiver has to be approved by
the instructor. For our Cisco 360 students: if you don't participate in
the class, you don't do your labs, etc, then the Cisco 360 instructor
isn't going to validate your core knowledge and he/she will NOT issue
you a waiver. The student has to EARN the waiver - heck, I'm a dual
CCIE, I want my CCIE to be as industry valid as the day I got it.
The CCIE certification has changed throughout the years, and will
continue to do so. I'm sure more changes will be coming (technical or
administrative), more CCIE tracks added, etc. It's an ever-evolving
program.

Brad Ellis

Now, the question is, which pilot would you rather fly with ?
