Looks like the priv level not being set is the issue.

Hi I am having problems authenticating to http server. Can someone help me
out please.

My config is as follows

ip http server
ip http authentication local

username cisco password cisco

I keep getting this error on the server:

The client just keeps attempting to authenticate me and the server keeps
failing the authentication?
