Pretty sure he meant workstation. I know there were issues in the earlier release of the vSphere client and Windows 7. Build 208111 and higher have no issues on Windows 7 for the client. Workstation 7.0.0 and 7.0.1 both caused no issues for me on 64-bit Win 7.
