Can SNMP Query Traps ?

Hi GS;

doest this technology exist ?

is it possible to configure this way to ease of management and configuration for SNMP:

SW1 just enable "snmp-server community public RO"

SW2 just enable "snmp-server community public RO"

SW1 will not enable all others traps such as snmp-server enable traps etc

SNMP Manager

R1 to query SW1 snmp rather than SW1 sent trap to R1

then R1 will sent traps to logging host (Ops Manager )

R1 will enable snmp such as link status , ospf state status

can someone help ? is it posible ?
