Problem with cisco7985 IP Phone

Hi experts,

Please i need your advise on an issue. I have a cisco7985 IP Phone that is
registered to a CUCM 6.1.3 environment. I have other phones like 7961, 7941,
7911 etc. These other phones (7911, 7941, 7961, 7960, 7940) have been fully
integrated and working for over 2 years on this CUCM 6.1 platform and calls
can be made between various partitions and calling search spaces using these
phones.

Recently i noticed that with the 7985 (fully configured and integrated on
the CUCM platform), i cannot make calls from the 7985 phone to other phones
and vice versa irrespective of the partition or calling search space the
7985 was configured on.

I observed that increasing the priority level on the partition for the phone
i want to reach appears to resolve this issue in some cases but most times
this is highly inconsistent as after a while i will not be able to reach
those phones anymore from the 7985.

What do you think the problem can be? I upgraded the firmware on the 7985
phone to the latest version 4.1.7 but this does not correct the problem.

Please advise.
