Re: Doc-cd ref to classify voice protocols?

Hello!!!

One tool I always like to remember is in the old tool belt is NBAR and
the "ip port-map" command. Check it out: Of course this is by no
means exhaustive and you still have the chore of matching the actual
voice data traffic as opposed to the control traffic but eh....it
helps!

R1#sh ip port-map skinny detail
IP port-map entry for application 'skinny':
     tcp 2000 Skinny Client Control
Protocol system defined

R1#sh ip port-map sip detail
IP port-map entry for application 'sip':
     udp 5060 Session Initiation
Protocol system defined
     tcp 5060 Session Initiation
Protocol system defined

R1#sh ip port-map h323 detail
IP port-map entry for application 'h323':
     tcp 1720 H.323 Protocol (e.g, MS
NetMee system defined

I think it's bullshit that you might be expected to remember the port a particular codec uses. However, if I can just look that up in the lab then great. I'm having trouble finding anything though.
> Can anyone help me? My plan in the lab if I need to classify voice is just to save a config, enable autoqos voice, copy all the class-maps/ acls to notepad then reboot the router. However this doesn't distinguish the different protocols and I'd like to block say H.323 calls in an ACL.
