Stephen,

New finding - when I tried to get file via http sourced from R5 to switch 2
(connected via breakout switch) bypassing FR switch and serial link, it runs
like a charm. I am leaning towards issue with GNS3 FR switch as it might not
be able to handle such a huge load.

I will try your option and see how I go-
