CCDA/DP will not be very useful prep for the DE itself, but it does build a
good foundation if you're new to design. It will also help build up your
confidence. Definitely read through the book list for the written, mainly
Optimal Routing Design and MPLS VPN Architectures.

The book list for the practical is good too, but not enough. Definitive
MPLS Network Designs is the best available, along with ORD and the other
routing protocol and VPN books. You will need a lot of design experience to
have a chance though...

I haven't tried any of the bootcamps yet, but I would like to try Petr's
(INE) later in the year. Working through practice exams would be the best
prep, which I would imagine is part of the bc. I know that Jeremy Filliben
had some practice exams out there as well, and there's also the Cisco demo.

Good luck!
