How about running VRRP/HSRP on the two 6506 switches on those specific Vlans ?

Point the PC to use the virtual IP as the gateway. Problem is that the PC has 1 physical connection to 1 access switch. If that switch falls over then you need to swap cables to the other switch. Are the access switches running L2 only or Layer 3 ?

My above statement assumes the access switches are L2 only and the Vlan interfaces are running on the 6506's
