for the benifit of ALL i am cc'ing.

In your sample config that you posted i can't see any policy-engin rules.
These are really dumb boxes but at a time very critical when it comes to
application troubleshooting.

apart from what you've already done, You need to activate pre-defined
policies :)

Step#1:
config t
policy-engine config restore-predefined

Step#2; verify above policies are activated
wae#show run | be policy-engine

name remote-desktop
name console
...... u will see above list of default supported application.

Make sure you do it on all boxes (a end and b end).

IMP: make sure you bounce these boxes! very important, i have seen gochaas
after activating default policy , not booting box start building dre cache
and you will see slow speed for at least 10 minutes. so for quick kick off,
reload these boxes. not sure with the latest software though if this was
fixed.

Step#3: Ask your customer about performance.

Step#4: verify that there is a performance increase. show these output to
your customer. that will make him to buy boxes!

step4.1
wae# clear cache dre

step4.2
transfer a .doc file then .pdf and then .zip file (shot1). 5 or 10 megs
each file
put them on web server. i am assuming you are not using WAFS.

step4.3
note down the transfer time of the above shot#1
check DRE , LZ (there are other forgot now) ration by using a command
wae# show tfp connection server-port 80 or 8080 whatever u have in step 4.2

step4.4
Then transfer the same file again (step#4.2)
repeat step#4.3

Compare step#4.4 results with step#4.3

That will make customer happy and will send purchase order immidiately.
If you get the PO after this, dont' forget to send Frog a few digital ants!

If above default policy doesn't give you optimal performance then you may
need to customize the policy according to your CUSTOM policies. Once I had
to create one for home grown application and the performance boosted
something ridiculous 500%.
