Those SYSLOGS often fail to fire - the tracked objects are also better as they can have a DELAY in their execution which often provides the EEM applet similar functionality to CATOS "link debounce" timer...

ROUTER(config-applet)# event syslog pattern "Interface GigabitEthernet0/0, changed state to down" " Interface GigabitEthernet0/1, changed state to down"

it will look for both events ?
