AFAIK, these 'dir' commands dont apply to an ASA. I have just never seen a
command (after actively looking for one for a few weeks/months) that shows
the content of a flash/disk of an ASA (at least I tried the 5585, which
does not have the removable disk/flash so maybe the other ones that do
(5500) might just work with it).
What I would normally do is to boot off TFTP and then do my little biz from
there.
