OT: IOS IPS pkg sigs

I am playing with IOS IPS, specifically with CCP 2.6. Inside CCP we
can load two general types of signature files:

- .zip file specifically for use with CCP that is downloaded to the pc

OR

- .pkg file. We can point to a pkg file stored on flash or tftp, etc.
this would be the only file type we could use at the CLI.

I noticed on cco that the zip file variant is updated to s711 very
recently but the non-ccp pkg file latest version is S636 from march
2012. What gives? Where are the up to date pkg sigs?

I can't get the zip file signatures to work from ccp but if I use the
pkg it works fine. When I use the s711 zip file from ccp the sigs just
don't compile at all.
