acs appliance query

Hi all ,

i have hardware ACS and i want to set it up . The things i need to
know is this is " hardware " appliance of ACS .

This device is been connected to rack for more than two years now
and was not configured properly .. so they dint use it in production
i dont know the lincence details ..

1) does hardware acs needs licnece ? .. .. (i know juniper also
has hardware SBR and it needs a licnense :-) )
2 this device is not under any kind of support ..how can i get
licence in such case
3) it managment changed and new team dont know who deployed it ,
 purchaed from which lcoal reseller etc ...
