DHCP over Xconnect

Hi all
I have established xconnect between two PE routers using sub interfaces toward the CEs
The xconnect is up as shown in the show mpls l2transport summary
one
 of the CEs is acting as DHCP server and the other one is acting as a
client but the DHCP binding did not take place , am i missing something ?
