Hey ALL
Is there a way to configure an ATM SVC enviroment with 2 ATM routers
connected back-to-back without a switch ?
I want to configure Classical IP between but I can't make them work.
This is the config I have
R1
interface ATM5/0
 ip address 130.130.1.1 255.255.255.0
 no ip directed-broadcast
 no ip mroute-cache
 atm arp-server self
 atm uni-version 3.1
 atm nsap-address AC.153366020000000000000000.000000000000.00
 pvc sen 0/5 qsaal
 !
 pvc sen2 0/16 ilmi
R2
interface ATM8/0/0
 ip address 130.130.1.2 255.255.255.0
 no ip directed-broadcast
 no ip route-cache distributed
 atm nsap-address AC.245678040000000000000000.000000000000.00
 atm uni-version 3.1
 atm arp-server nsap AC.153366020000000000000000.000000000000.00
 pvc sen 0/5 qsaal
 !
 pvc sen2 0/16 ilmi
These are some show commands
Router#sh atm map
Map list ATM5/0_ATM_ARP : DYNAMIC
arp maps to NSAP AC.153366020000000000000000.000000000000.00
Router#sh atm ilmi-status
Interface : ATM5/0 Interface Type : Private UNI (User-side)
ILMI VCC : (0, 16) ILMI Keepalive : Disabled
ILMI State: UpAndNormal
Peer IP Addr: 130.130.1.2 Peer IF Name: ATM8/0/0
Peer MaxVPIbits: 8 Peer MaxVCIbits: 10
I cannot ping the other side with SVC but I can do with PVC .
