As a tip dont use ipx routing 1111.1111.1111 the router accepts this but then w
ill not let you do static ipx routes as it sees it as a multicast address, the
same goes for 2222.2222.2222 and 3333.3333.3333 I never tried anymore but its p
robably the same on all hex address up to eeee.eeee.eeee, ffff.ffff.ffff being
a broadcast.

I recently did this on the Caslow ARC class and was at a loss as to why it woul
d take it but then see it as a multicast when doing an ipx static. I fixed it b
y using the ipx routing 1.1.1 command and overwriting the 1111.1111.1111 addres
s.

Type it in the "ipx routing" command, i.e. ipx routing 1.1.1 (will parse to
0001.0001.0001).

Hi everyone. I am playing with IPX and I would like to specify host
addresses so that I don't have to type the whole mac address every time I
want to ping. Does anyone know how to do that?
