I tried the expert CIM and was not impressed. I did the entire thing on my
way to San Jose. The simulations are very basic and it doesn't really test
you because it only accepts a limited number of commands. So if you use the
question mark you will probably just see the correct answer or maybe one
additional entry.

The labs cover a basic EIGRP config, basic OSPF, very basic BGP config, and
I think there may have been a redistribution scenario.

Hi one and all,

Today, I noticed my neighborhood bookstore selling the IP Routing CIM for
$150. The packaging declares that this product will provide you with
"practice scenarios" that are similiar to those we will find in the actual
ccie lab. I wonder if anyone who has already worked with this product feels
that this is a good product to use in preparing for the lab. Please let me
know what your thoughts are. I think there are many people on this list who
would be interested to know your opinions about CIM.
