Yes, I agree. From the docs: "summarization is possible in the Enhanced
IGRP to NLSP direction only." But we're not talking about summarizing at
R2. R2 is being handed an aggregated route formed at R4. R2 doesn't seem
to know how to redistribute this aggregated route into IPX EIGRP...

i got some docs in cisco telling that no way to aggregate nlsp to the
EIGRP
so i think the only way as u said is to remove the aggreagtion of area1
to
let the EIGRP domain see the more specific routes ....this will lead to
a
mistake in the solution.
