if you run EIGRP on the Microwave/Ethernet link, it will loose it's neighbor
once the Microwave goes down. that way you'll know that microwave went down.
You can do something like "redistribute static metric 10000 1 255 10 1500"
on the side that goes out to the inet. this will redistribute you static
default to the other side, with microwave as the preffered path. once it
goes down it'll switch to T1. ( it depends on what ur needs are really)

Looks like the Microwave is connected to the Ethernet, much like DSL
connects to the Ethernet. Problem is how do you monitor the Microwave side
of the link if the Ethernet stays UP?
Can you assign IP addresses to the Microwave side of the links?

Have you tried configuring the T-1 as a backup interface to the interface
connecting to the "microwave link".
Lets say microwave link is connected to S0 thro the CSU/DSU or whatever
power modem it is.
Configure S1 connected to the T1 as a backup for S0
int s 0
backup int s 1
WIth EIGRP, you can load balance also or bring it up after reaching a load
threshold.
Cheers,Padhu
