1/255 = 0.39%, so you were as close as you could get.  20% of 255 is exactly
51, but 20% of 256 is 51.2, which rounded up is 52.  I think your
calculation was correct.
Maybe Marc was using an early Pentium I with Excel when he made that
calculation  ;-)
