Hi

hmm... in which route is the ip bgp show it unavailable. This is most likely synchronization
problem, but I can't really make out your point.
If you configure RR and distribute a route in one of the client, the RR should have this route in
the bgp table and ospf table and both are supposed to be sync.
Now the problem ussually from the route reflector to the other client. Because the route reflector
will change the bgp rid to that of the route reflector so by the time the route received by the
other client sync will kick in.

BGP says the route is originated from the RR and OSPF says the route is orginated from the other
client. => not sync

this has been discussed before I believe and the decision is that route-reflector is not suppose to
work with sync on. But come again I might have a solutions for you. You can change the OSPF router
id for the route by turning the area between RR and the client that is originating the route into
NSSA. This way the static route redistributed into OSPF will be a LSA type 7 which is ok. by the
time it reach the RR, RR will do a translation to LSA type 5, and send the LSA to the other client
as being originated by the RR router (with router ID of the RR). Voila...you have it..the route will
show.
Of course there is a catch by turning it into NSSA you can never configure virtual-link
blablabla...over that area between the RR and the client that is originating the route. Hope that
helps.

Best Regards
Donny

hi,guys

when I use the route-reflector with two clients in one AS, and with the ospf as the IGP completed.
I configure a route to null in one client and which is redistributed static into the bgp, all the
other client can see the route, but show ip bgp show it unavailable. The RR's ip route and bgp route
for the route is available.
Why?

Thanks
