IGRP needs to see the route in the routing table to
pass it on to the next router. If you summarize the
route at the other router, use 'no discard route' to
get rid off null summarized route, the ASBR will have
/24 or whatever that is needed to pass on to the IGRP
routers.
I don't think there's any easy way to remove eigrp
summarized null routes though. elping suggested to use
'distribute-list in null 0' and deny everything, it's
an idea, but eigrp will not take 'distribute-list in
null 0'. If you want, you can remove it by
'distribute-list 1 in' with an ACL, but what's that
good for? It's not like OSPF, as soon as you remove it
from the routing table, you also remove it from the
other router's topology table.
