Guys, simple config on a 2600
When I attached the serv-pol to the fa0/0 interface it tells me to run cef
for nbar.

I thought that NBAR was only certain prots under the match protocol and not
all protocols? I am just matching FTP (pretty standard protocol - not
fancy like sql, or exchange stuff?)

Can someone confirm this is the case that the "match protocol (any
protocol)" under the class-map is starting NBAR

Many thx indeed,

Ken

!
class-map match-all kenny
  match protocol ftp
!
policy-map ken
  class kenny
   bandwidth percent 50
!

2600-r02(config-pmap-c)#int fa0/0
2600-r02(config-if)#servic
2600-r02(config-if)#service-policy out ken
CEF switching is required for NBAR 'match protocol' command
2600-r02(config-if)#^Z
2600-r02#
